Family vacation for a 60th birthday. Everything we could think of and more was at the cottage. Easy check in and out. Everyone had their own space and was very comfortable.

Amazing and Beautiful cottage!
What an amazing and beautiful cottage! We truly felt at home here and would 100% recommend this cottage to others. We will also be coming back ourselves! We felt at home here, and completely comfortable. Everything was so clean when we arrived, and we even met the owners who are so kind! They gave us their phone number in case we had any questions and said they had no problem helping us out if we needed it! The cottage is huge, so much space to go if you want some alone time, and windows/doors everywhere so you can enjoy the view no matter where you are! We went on a weekend where it rained, so we were a little disappointed and worried that we would be stuck inside, but we made the most of it by going out on the water with all of the many water toys, and playing on the beach with sand toys! Another major thing that this cottage has are the 3 gazebos! If we didn’t have those it wouldn’t have been the same. When it rained we would just sit in one of the three and enjoy being outside while still staying dry. The one with the fire table in the centre was our favourite. To sum it up, this cottage rental was the best I have gone to, and everything about it was amazing! We had a blast even with all of the rain!

Everything very nice!
“There is a food land and LCBO next to the cottage . Also if you plan to tow a boat. It would be a nice place. Only 1min drive to the loading zone. The house is hidden in the left side of the road. You can see galaxy in the midnight as well if not cloudy. Everything is good in the cottage 🙂 . Sofa is very comfortable”

Clean & spacious, with tons to do! We want to come back!!
My family and I loved everything about this beautiful cottage! It was very spacious and clean. There were a ton of games to play inside and activities to do in our backyard. The cottage has kayaks and pedal boats which were used almost everyday. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending this cottage to our friends and family.

Simply amazing! So much to do for adults & kids!
“Simply amazing. We had a wonderful time at the cottage and it was everything you would expect and more. There was so much to do for both adults and kids. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. It was mosquito and black fly season but the 3 gazebos on the property allowed us to still relax outside without getting bit. Looking forward to hopefully come back in the future.”

Perfect for large families!
The Kilty Cottage was just as described and perfect for our large group. Plenty of room to hang out together and enough space to spend some quiet alone time. I would recommend this cottage to any family having a multigenerational get together. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was well designed and cared for. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with all the basics. The outdoors and lake were gorgeous. Lots of water toys – all put to good use by us. The photos are accurate but only hinted at the relaxing feeling you will come away with after some time spent in this beautiful location.

Spectacular!!
We had a spectacular stay! This house is both gorgeous and comfortable, perfect for all ages: from toddlers to teenagers to grandparents. It has a private beach with easy access, just a few steps from the house. The water is warm and shallow, perfect for swimming for both young kids and adults. Those who prefer not to swim can still chat to those who are in the water as they sunbathe on the dock or while they prep the boat for a day trip. The outside area has beautiful landscaping that combines lovely plants and flowers, a comfortable grass area and fire pit as well as a very convenient sand patch by the water where our young kids enjoyed building castles by the calm and warm lake water. There are all sorts of choices for fun in the water: canoe, kayaks, paddle boat (safety jackets included!)… and in the sand: trucks, buckets, etc. The inside is both spacious and cozy. The triple height in the living room area brings in lots of beautiful light. The house has a variety of areas that allow for all the members of a group to enjoy themselves without anybody feeling neither isolated nor overwhelmed by the rest. There are two TV areas with good technology and equipment. The kitchen is very well equipped and integrated into the living and dining rooms. You can cook and still enjoy a lovely view of the lake. From what we saw while boating, this seems to be the best cottage in Lake Stewart area. You can tell is someone’s home, with good pride of ownership, yet you always feel welcome and at home.

Perfect family retreat!
Great house, lots of room yet still cozy from all the personal little touches to the decor. Our family of 10 had a picture perfect Thanksgiving weekend there enjoying the gorgeous fall colours outside and a lovely turkey dinner inside (the kitchen had everything we could possibly need). Kids had fun in the pedal boat and kayaks when they weren’t playing cards on the dock.

Amazing Vacation!
Amazing vacation! I had friends and family stay the week, and everyone loved the place. I kept receiving compliments on it as if it were mine!! The gazebo’s are fantastic!! And provides relief from any mosquito’s, and there are several mosquito machines on the property, which are invaluable for cottage country! Large deck and perfect location for sunset lovers. The cottage itself is perfectly planned out. Can accommodate so many variations of guests and personal tastes. It felt like a home, and I treated it as such. Stewart lake has a great big bay to have fun on the water with water toys. But be respectful in smaller areas. Town supplies are 4 mins away. The hosts were fantastic and made themselves available to contact. Though there was no need. Everything was amazing here. I really can’t say enough good things. Thank you 🙂

Perfect family cottage!
Beautiful, spacious and clean cottage! Everything was perfect during our 4 day stay in September. – Easy check in, even with a small miscommunication on the entry code that was corrected quicklyy contacting the host. – Clean and spacious. Pictures are beautiful but being there in person makes you appreciate all the details. Everything was also very clean with pride of ownership evident. We had a group of 14 but never felt crowded as it’s so comfortable and convenient. Central heating worked well and came in handy with the colder fall nights. Quick 5-10 minute drive to town for resupply if needed. Would absolutely stay again if ever given the chance! Thanks again for being such a great host!

Stewart Lake a great family spot!
We had a wonderful stay! The listing was as described and more. The owner was there when we arrived and greeted everyone warmly. This is their home for most of the year – not just an investment – which means that it was well taken care and had everything you could need for the stay. Toys, games, extra blankets, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of chairs and towels. The layout of the home was perfect for large families wanting to be together or needing some space. It accommodated my disabled father well. The outdoor areas were perfect. Plenty of water and beach toys for the kids, a clear sandy bottom entrance and a wonderful dock to sit on and read. Really, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I would recommend this house to any family group.
